Nathan Reflective Belt Running Waist Pack Review

Product Resources

Want a waist pack that doesn't bounce? Here ya  go. Nathan incorporates the essentials of the Run Safe Initiative which is wearing reflective fabric, carrying identification, and bringing along a cell phone for emergencies. All into an easy and lightweight waist pak,

the Nathan Reflective Belt is an all-in-one belt that keeps runners and their valuables safe. Cars will notice this one. This one is great for early pre sunrise runners and after dark runners in particular.

Great quality and comfortable to use

PRODUCT FEATURES

Power Stretch Mesh outer pocket expands to hold items snugly in place

360-degree reflectivity; 3M Scotchlite reflective detail; High visibility ANSI yellow material

Waterproof I.D. card / medical emergency card included

I.D. detail directs emergency personnel to critical info

Fully adjustable belt with featherweight buckle

Pouch will not fit iPhone. Use the other Nathan belt if you want your iphone

The fit is excellent nesting itself in the small of your back so it does not bounce. The stretchy web belt is a great touch as it keep the belt on your waist without being too tight or restrictive. And the belt is not hot.

Capacity of the Nathan Reflective Running Waist Pack

The capacity of the pack part isn't very large, enough for a few small items like two or three gels, your ID, and your keys. However, for those who want to take more, the Nathan clip on flasks work well to add liquid carriers and for a cell phone but not an iPhone as that is too large.

The pack's is not large enough to hold anything much useful beyond the tiny little card they give you to record your details on. It would be nice if there was a pocket large enough to store a Drivers License and a Debit card.

Difference between the Nathan Reflective Belt Running Waist Pack and the Nathan Shadow Pak Runners Pack.

Nathan Reflective Runner's Waist pack is

  • Waterproof
  • 360-degree reflectivity; 3M Scotchlite reflective detail; High visibility ANSI yellow material
  • Smaller than the Reflective Belt Running Waist Pak
  • This one does not fit an iphone or some of the larger smart phones

Compact waist pack does not bounce

The shoe thingy is just not quite enough room for some people. Sometimes you want a bit of extra room for a few belongings. This one works well and fits snugly without being uncomfortable. It is a high quality product that will last you for years.

My favorite runner pk cuz it's flat

I have a closet full of runner's packs I bought and were bought for me. All of them bug the heck out of me. But this one is the bomb. I had to adjust a bit more with a sewing machine since I'm petite and that does bug me but worth it. (Make one for petite ladies Nathan!) This one doesn't bob up and down and I like that it's flatter leving me just enough room for what I need. I can't stand the think on the shoe as it bothers me about mile 8. But I can do an entire half marathon with this and it's like it's not even there until I need it.

This is the pack for a long distance runner

This is hands down my favorite. I had to adjust the belt more since I'm a petite woman but it stays snug to my body and I can keep a few dollars, a key and credit card with me. I also run sometimes before sunup so the reflective is good for makeing me more visible
