Many doctors use Traumeel injectable for athletes who need to "get back in the game" so to speak.
Dr. Micca, a sportmedinfo.net contributor says it works well for retrocalcanael bursitis and achilles tendinitis where cortisone is contraindictated.
Dr. Micca says, "I usually get between 1 to 3 days relief--it's great for taking the edge off and breaking the pain cycle. I'll usually have my athletes combine it with Traumeel gel topically for added benefit. (Patients claim the gel works better than the cream)"
