Chilean Miners Wear Compression Garments

Low blood pressure was a potential hazard to the the miners being rescued from the trapped tunnel.  To prevent the drop in pressure, which inspires a dizzy lightheaded feeling, the miners were wearing Sports med compression garments.

Compression sleeves and compression socks were from McDavid Hexpads.  These were used to push the blood into their chest and maintaining the blood flow to their heads.
