I have to admit that I miss those little arch supports you could slip into your arch under your foot. They can’t be found anywhere any more although they were very effective.
Full footed inserts take up so much room and they make my shoe too small and they don’t look at all fashionable with women’s dress shoes that are slip on mules. These are “half footed” with adjustable arch support inserts. You can use them without the insert or you can add light support, medium support or firm arch support.
These orthotics come in Women’s and Men’s. See what makes them adjustable in bottom photo.

Resolves a lot of things: Back pain, ankle pain, heel pain of plantar fasciitis
Many times, problems with your lower extremities have to do with your feet. And if you resolve the issue at the root level, your foot, the pain subsides.
At first glance, they don’t look like they’d be anything special
Most people have told me that they did not expect much from these supports when they looked at them at first. For one thing, the arch support looks like it’s not in the right place. But what most mentioned was that it was the fact that they were not “full footed” and they were inexpensive so worth a shot.
But they worked for me and most people I spoke with. And we’re all sort of amazed. Full orthotics can be uncomfortable to women in particular since our shoes rarely tie. And I only need one and then they make my shoes ill fitting which hurts the top of my foot. For a lot of my shoes I need only the light support (just the insert without the extra support module).
They have been very effective with my plantar fasciitis. While it is almost resolved, standing on a hard surface for a long time (tile or cement) makes my arch ache. But when I use these, I don’t have that issue. I use the support in one side only.
I do run with them
It takes a little getting used to running with them. I had to figure out which of the customization arch inserts was what I needed in my running shoes.
