Some of the injuries and muscle strains have more than one method of kinesio taping. You can check on the one above or try the one below.

I have an inflamed bursa, also known as bursitis, so I used the taping below recommended for runner's knee and it works like a dream. It never ceases to amaze me that this stuff works. You apply the tape and the pain just goes away. Or in some cases, it takes the hard edge of pain away. I am a fan of the bulk rolls since I use so much of it.

Joann Stapensea of theratape.com went down to the Houston marathon to tape runners in that event and by far, the most popular taping, was runner's knee. Second was ITB band.

Before you do this taping, BEND YOUR KNEE TO APPLY. In other words, you are applying this tape while your knee is bent. Make sure you rub to activate the glue so it sticks. When you stand up, it should look wrinkly.

Do not stretch the tape at the anchor points. Those are the end pieces. Basic application instructions below the Knee taping.

Below is a kinesiology taping method that works for chrondromalacia (Osgood-Schlatter), patellar tendinitis, runner's knee, bursitis.
