Blue Emu Oil is an oil that the emu, Dromaius novaehollandiae, a bird native to Australia, grows naturally under its feathers. It is harvested by rubbing the emu with a soft cloth or chamois. When the cloth is saturated, it is squeezed into cedar buckets. Birds are not killed or harmed in the harvest of this oil.
