Benefits of Pain Meds/Supplements

Works for: preventive for illness, energy booster, ph balance, antioxidant

Product Resources

Unfortunately, today’s food supply does not supply all the vitamins and minerals you need. Emergen-C Vitamin fizzy drink dietary supplement is not only a super non-caffeinated energy booster, it powers up the immune system to fight infections. This review included following 3 people (started with 5) for the better part of a year (two winters) to see how they faired in terms of illness. Hardly a true scientific study but certainly enough evidence to post a thorough review.

Overall, participants suffered substantially fewer illnesses-- even the one who traveled often on planes. This is good news for athletes because nothing is more aggravating that training for something only to get bronchitis a day before the event. This potent blend of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and other micronutrients support healthy metabolic function.

Emergen-C is more than Vitamin C

Emergen-C has1000 mg of Vitamin C as well as 7 mineral ascorbates. 32 Mineral complexes and the B Vitamins. The foundation of Emergen-C is seven mineral ascorbates which include potassium, manganese, sodium, calcium, magnesium, chromium & zinc. This provides your body with 1,000 mg of Vitamin C in a stomach-friendly, non-acidic formula.

Unlike other vitamins, there does seem to be an advantage to drinking your vitamins in liquid form. It also offers an alternative for those who have difficulty swallowing pills. For those with general difficulty tolerating vitamins, Emergen-C works very well.

It works best if you're using it to prevent viral colds by taking it at the first sign of your symptoms. But it still helps in the middle or at the end.

We recommend taking a Calcium supplement with Emergen-C

Or you can take the formula with more calcium. The calcium neutralizes the vitamin in the system to balance the ph. Americans eat far too many acid-producing food resulting in a lot of general feeling of sluggishness and susceptibility to illness. We’d also recommend that you do not take other supplements of Vitamin C. Mega doses of vitamin C will throw your system out of balance.

Emergen-C has many flavors

Nutrition label above is for the raspberry flavor

There are too many to name but this comes in cranberry, pomegranate, orange, lemon. But for viral cold prevention, we'd recommend the Super Orange.

Formulations include those with calcium, glucosamine/chondroitin and electrolyte formulas. Emergen-C may be new to you but it’s been around since 1978. Alacer Corporation introduced this effervescent powdered drink mix as the “champagne of nutritional drinks”. The brand is also a strong charitable supporter with a history of having donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to breast cancer causes to poor nations in need of nutritional supplementation.
The vitamin is best taken in conjunction with a healthy diet.

While ours is not a scientific study, studies involving the effectiveness of Vitamin C in fighting illness have been conducted by Linus Pauling.

I cannot tolerate multivitamins. I can tolerate some of them separately, but once a vitamin formulation is put together in one pill, I have trouble sleeping. I have no idea what specifically about multivitamin supplements would be to blame, but I've tried expensive and highly bioavailable to cheap. Emergen-C is the only thing I can tolerate and it does the job.

I do combine a daily dose of this with a calcium supplement and the grossnan nasal irrigator to prevent sinus infections. I was a chronic sinus infection sufferer who has less than one infection per year, usually due to my slacking off from the nasal irrigator.

I love the tangerine and the pomegranate. Each one has a different mix of vitamins and values so I tend to switch them off and typically have 3 flavors on hand.

My dad told me about Emergen-C and he tends to be a skeptic about such things. His words: "I always take it when I feel something coming on and I never get worse" - and the same has been true for me. It's awesome, and doesn't make you feel loopy like a lot of OTC meds.

I have taken this emergen c for many years. I like the rasberry and the tangeriine as well as the super orange. If i take it before getting on a plane, i don't get the crud. I do not know what about it works, but it does.
