Benefits of Pain Meds/Supplements

Works for: Joint pain and relief

Product Resources

Glucosamine and Chondroitin supplements do help a number of people get relief from arthritis and joint pain. While this does not cure arthritis, it does relieve pain and allow people to enjoy an active lifestyle. After taking for 7 days, you will start to feel the full effects.

WARNING: Glucosamine supplements normally contain one of two types of glucosamine: glucosamine sulfate or glucosamine hydrochloride. Bi-flex has Glucosamine sulfate which is not recommended if you suffer from high blood pressure. Alternate formula for those with high blood pressure.

This formula contains the unique ingredient, 5-Loxin, along with high potency Vitamin D. Taking 5-Loxin shows improvement in joint comfort within 7 days. By targeting a distinct pathway in the body, it supports cartilage by guarding against the action of enzymes that affect joint health. Additionally, Osteo Bi-Flex Advanced Triple Strength with Joint Shield helps protect cartilage and helps with annoying flare-ups while renewing the cellular components within joints.

This glucosamine chondroitin brand, Osteo Bi-Flex, was recommended to me by a physician

The doctor who uses this does so religiously. In fact, he had all but given up racquetball but tried this brand recommended to him by a colleague. He was so stoked about this stuff, he has a picture of it on his iphone. And again he's playing racquetball regularly. There is science to back up the effects of this supplement and orthopedic surgeons often recommend it or endorse its use.

Basically, healthy cartilage needs water and glucosamine is a major building block of this water. Some claim it repairs cartilage but that is often refuted by others. It is proven to reduce joint pain and inflammation.

What is the difference between all the Osteo Bi-Flex formulations?

Good question. And while we can't tell you before a new one comes out, we can tell you that this is triple strength so you only have to take it twice per day. So remember that when comparing prices. This formulation also has Vitamin D, particularly important in the winter when there is less sunlight. Triple strength also works well in the colder months when arthritis is likely to be worse due to cold.

Most recommend you take this with meals. While you should expect to relief in 7 days,, most people will tell you they feel relief the first day with this formulation.

Ideally, brands should have a combination of HCI and Sulfate. Most people noticed a big difference between brands suggesting that this proprietary brand is more effective. So the quality of the supplement is paramount. The caplets are coated for easy swallowing.

Features:

* #1 doctor recommended brand.
* Proud sponsor of the arthritis foundation.
* Glucosamine Chondroitin + MSM.
* Easy to swallow coated caplets.
* Advanced triple strength.
* Vitamin D 2000 IU plus MSM
* Joint comfort within 7 days.

INGREDIENTS:

Crospovidone, Vegetable Magnesium Stearate, Cellulose Coating, Cellulose (plant origin), Silica, Titanium Dioxide Color, Caramel Color

DIRECTIONS:

For adult use: Take two (2) caplets per day with food. As a reminder, discuss the supplement and medications you take with your health care providers. You have the option of taking 2 caplets together or spread throughout the day.

The role of MSM in joint pain relief

MSM is thought to be effective in the fight against Osteoarthritis (OA) and other joint pain because of its high sulfur content-- one of the building blocks of healthy joints. It is believed that MSM delivers sulfur to the body in a useable way. Sulfur is critical to good joint health and helps maintain the structure of connective tissue. Basically, sulfur strengthens the tissues that make up the joint.

Your joints are worth it

You will have more joint pain if you sit around and become overweight. That is a vicious cycle. So using something that allows you more mobility is key to keeping weight off and reducing pressure on your joints.

This works for all joints including elbows, knees, shoulder, ankles, hips.

Take note when comparing price. Many of the cheaper ones have fewer milligrams. So while they might look cheaper and have the same number of pills, what's in them might not be equal. The triple strength will cost more because you take it only twice per day. And there is the added benefit of Vitamin D. Many of the cheap brands are often passed through the body unused. You want quality ingredients. Liquid is often recommended as working quickly and not passing through the body. However, this pill brand comes with rave reviews from medical professionals and athletes.

Contraindications

Discuss taking supplements with your doctor, particularly if you are pregnant.

  • Glucosamine supplements normally contain one of two types of glucosamine: glucosamine sulfate or glucosamine hydrochloride. Bi-flex has Glucosamine sulfate which is not recommended if you suffer from high blood pressure. Alternate formula for those with high blood pressure.
  • It has a warning for those who eat shellfish since it has shellfish ingredients.
  • One person mentioned to me that it raises her blood pressure. This is the only person who has told me this but bear that in mind if you take it and experience this side effect.

This is a great formula. And even better that I have to take it only twice per day and don't have to buy vitamin d.

Boron (as sodium Tetraborate) is also known as borax. It has been used in pesticides, detergents, and even rat poisons.

Please don't take my word for this, look it up and do your research, after all it's a toxic chemical.
