Under Armour re-engineered their popular long sleeve coldgear mock turtlenecks even more this season making it nicely fitted without overly tight. It wicks moisture away from your skin which is key to staying warm in cold weather. This top is lightweight for the amount of warmth it provides.
Under Armour ColdGear® Features a tapered, updated fit
Gone are the sort of short and overly tight coldgear that I still have in my drawer. Here is the new fitted but not too tight,
Long enough to cover arms, neck, and your rear. Whether you are short or tall, having the length is key to staying warm. If you are tall and long armed you will really appreciate this as finding under gear that covers is difficult.
This is great for skiing or snowblowing, running or standing outside guarding a building. You can wear it alone or layered. And it keeps you warm in 10 degrees as a layer under clothing to 30 degrees F.
It’s a lot of warmth with virtually no bulk.
ColdGear Fitted Long sleeve Mock Tops by Under Armour feature a Better Fabric
Advanced knit fabric traps heat for enhanced warmth. This Lightweight, 4-way stretch construction improves mobility and accelerates dry time.
These under shirts offer a superior Moisture Transport System that wicks away sweat to keep you drier and more comfortable. Anti-odor technology prevents the growth of odor-causing microbes so your gear stays fresher, longer.
The previous shirts would get smelly quickly trapping body odor no matter how much deodorant you uses. It features flatlock seams feel smooth and prevent chafing. It is a light 7.0 oz. Polyester/Elastane fabric. On the inside it has an oh-so-soft felt like lining that is really toasty against your skin. It also doesn’t seem to smell as bad as quickly as the previous knit.

Women's Under Armour ColdGear has some fabulous new colors
For both men and women, there is a larger selection of colors. But I have to say the women’s colors are dynamite. They are very fashionable colors in addition to basics like black, white and gray. The turtleneck version of this shirt is also a very comfortable turtleneck – not too tight, not too loose with that warm felt like fabric lining the neck.
Under Armour is not cheap but worth the price. I have had my previous shirts for 4 years and the white color is a bit dingy but it is still a wearable shirt with no splits in the seams, still as warm although not as long as the new ones (they never were). The warmth for the weight is worth its weight in gold leaving you feeling cozy.
