Knee Braces, Supports

This brace works with your body

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Probably one of the most effective knee braces for patellar tracking issues. Subluxation is an unstable knee cap that does not slide centrally within its groove. This improper tracking may lead to dislocation of patella where the kneecap fully dislocates out of the groove.

This brace is most effective when combined with a physical therapy program.

Ankle Braces, Orthotics

Remarkable inserts for the price

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
These have helped with standing long periods of time. It's hard to get over something if you have to stand. So I use the kinesio tape, the boot on this site and these orthotics. Then I make sure I stretch. So what is typically a 9-month ailment is not. It's still not instant but these cheap inserts do the trick. Full orthotics are tough for women's shoes. I just can't stuff my foot and the orthotics into anything stylish. But I can use these with most of my shoes.

Lightweight, effective, cheap

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
I will admit to having not given up running entirely in the process but I've cut back considerably and put days in between, cut back on mileage, wear good shoes (gel kayanos and Dansko clogs), used kinesio tape, do my stretching and sometimes yoga class, avoid standing on hard surfaces for too long and used ibuprofen. I also find it helpful to just ballet point the toe occasionally then bend it back the other direction on its own. That's something you can do at a desk and you don't need any device whatsoever.

Best Buy for portable and lightweight icing.

Of all the available cold therapy units, this one is the best of the icing systems and products that are manual and portable. The price is good and customer service with this company is outstanding.

Knee Braces, Supports

Outstanding design and very Comfortable

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
It is far more comfortable than most sleeve type braces. They usually squeeze but this one gives in the right places if you order the right size.

This is a superb knee brace and recommended by physical therapists and doctors. If you need more patella stabilization, go for the p3. But also keep in mind that you need to strengthen the muscles around your knee and you may need surgical advice. Don't expect a knee brace to cure knee problems when what you really need is a doctor's advice. However, for those who have had knee surgery, an doctor's evaluation or arthritis, this keeps you active.

It is expensive but can last as long as 5 years. Does not smell and it can be washed.

Orthopedic Surgeons Prescribe these

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Physical therapists and orthopedic surgeons always prescribe these for post op rehab for knee surgery, shoulder surgery etc.

Thera-bands are the only resistive exercise tubing endorsed by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and they are great for building upper body strength, lower body strength, rehabilitation and fitness. You can even use these to improve your performance for sports ranging from marathons to archery.

Gets to the core of the problem

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
This guide and the videos do not skim the surface of the problem but rather treat what is causing it. To treat and prevent shin splints, you should know how it happens so you can do things to prevent it and avoid those things that would aggravate it.

This is an easy-to-read resource written by a professional who specializes in the prevention and treatment of shin splints. Some might balk at 2 months of doing these simple exercises but usually after you've suffered repeatedly, those people will see the value more clearly. Those who have had them over and over will not think twice.

Incidentally, Asics Gel Kayano running shoes are great for the prevention of shin splints due to fact the base of the shoe molds to the foot and arch.

This did the trick for the plantar fasciitis

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
I did not love yoga. But now that my arch is not in pain, I am seeing the benefits. My lower back feels better, too. I guess I had a dull ache but it didn't register until it felt better. I like that this is broken up in chapters so I can have bit sized chunks. I'm from the old school of wanting to really sweat to feel like I have worked out. But I felt energized. You can't depend on kinesio alone. The combination of the kinesiology tape and this dvd is a real winner.

Anatomical shoulder cuff makes this a winner over

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Trying to re arrange an ice pack and maintain good shoulder coverage is the difficult part of icing a shoulder. This icing system does the trick and is interchangeable with other cuffs such as the cryocuff knee and wrist. They all use the same cooler and you just get the cuff. It is often sent home with patients by surgeons following shoulder surgeries such as rotator cuff tears and shoulder replacement to relieve post-op pain.

Carb, Electrolyte Replacements easy on the tummy

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Besides the fact that these seem to cause the least stomach upset for endurance athletes, there was resounding endorsement for the taste. The gummy bear delivery was far more palatable for runners and they did provide the necessary kick to the energy level. In fact, many of the runners confessed to eat these on non-training days. 'Better for you than eating candy' was one comment.

They are bulkier and less convenient in size. But less messy and easier to properly dispose of packages.
