It is important that you find the right sports bra for your bust size and level of activity. For example, a sports bra that’s great for yoga might not keep the sisters properly planted when you run. Sports bras are categorized by the amount of support they offer. Categories, sometimes called MCR ratings for Motion Control Ratings, define support levels. Usually something like:

Medium Support
High
Maximum
Which kind of support you need for which sport depends on your bust size. For instance, a runner who is a B cup is fine with high support while a runner who is a D cup needs maximum. Both are runners but need different support levels due to anatomy.
What kind do you need?
Keep in mind that some of the sports bras are not designed to show and some are. Some of them are are more traditional with the closure in back and some are pullover half tops and are fine to wear by themselves jogging. Some work well as bras that can be worn under spaghetti strap tops and other tops that don't allow for traditional bras. But sports bra straps often have attractive and colorful straps that are fine and even fashionable if they are showing. That way you can wear the tops that keep you cool and get the support you need. So they have a purpose other than being used for sport activities. And finally, which one works for you is experience. After a while, you'll simply narrow it down to some favorites.
Measuring instructions
The champion website link below has detailed instructions on measuring for the correct fit. You will see a link “measuring instructions” right under the bra size menu. Unfortunately, the hardest to find size is a AA. And AA women still need a sports bra.
