Emphasizes Rehabilitation and Prevention

This book even good for those who are just beginning in the field of athletic training or perhaps want to see if they have any interest in that field of study because it teaches the foundation and core of taping technique.

What I liked is that it tells you the goal of the taping method. For instance what the taping is intended to support in order to prevent something or help you heal from injury.

It also includes stretching and strengthening techniques so you that limit your dependence on taping and bracing and begin to heal the right way.

Thorough with lots of photos

It is one of the most complete and thorough taping guides available with clear, concise color pictures that are of sufficient size and detail coupled with clear and concise explanations of anatomy.

You are not dropped off in left field with seriously scientific phrases without explanation or reference to anatomy. It not only shows you, it details technique.

The DVD is a recommended companion

Sometimes you just need to see it done. And the DVD adds value to what you read in the book by showing you how it’s done.

Contents of the DVD are shown in this review listing. By using both reference guides, you can truly get a good start on bracing and taping and doing it correctly.

I absolutely love this book. I have had feet problems since I was a kid and this has so many great and low cost solutions. You should see my copy of this book. The corners are all curled up and it has a bit o' gator aide on it, too. I guess I need to get a new one.
