Wrist/Elbow Brace Benefits

Wrist/Elbow Supports
  • Lateral Epicondylitis (tennis elbow)
  • Medial epicondylitis
  • tendonitis

Tennis elbow is annoying and painful and it hands around for a long time. Elbow straps relieve pain by putting pressure on the part of the arm that hurts.

This elbow strap is very effective in releaving strap tennis elbow

The Bauerfeind EpiPoint Elbow Strap is a dynamic elbow strap for tennis elbow (epicondylitis) and other overuse conditions. The integrated elastic pressure cushion relieves pressure on the tendons at precisely the right points providing relief for painful tennis elbow or epicondylitis. A special red warning section indicates if the strap has been pulled too tightly and if the pressure is too strong. This strap can be worn on either the left or the right arm and it is one size fits all.

Bauerfeind EpiPoint Elbow Strap Fit

EpiPoint is universal, fitting both the right and left arm and is available in one size and will fit a forearm circumference between 8 3/4 - 13 inches. It fits a larger arm than others and it’s easy to put on, wider and more comfortable than other braces. Bauerfeind products are generally superior products.

The circumference of the elbow should be taken around the widest point below the elbow joint, with the elbow bent. This is accomplished by rotating the anatomically contoured viscoelastic insert. The inside bubble really holds and offers just the right pressure. We liked that the tension strap worked really well. And if you pull the strap too tight, a red line will show so there is no danger that you’ll apply it like a tourniquet.

Favorite features of the Bauerfeind EpiPoint Elbow Strap

What most liked is that the tension strap worked, it fit larger arms than most, was more comfortable and wider seemed to work in many ways for both pain and “stay put” power.

Compared to the bauerfeind arm sleeve, this was more popular and athletes felt it worked and felt better by applying pressure to just the right area.

The best elbow brace for tennis elbow

Of all those we have reviewed, this is the most expensive but it is the most effective in relieving elbow pain associated with golfer's elbow and tennis elbow making the additional cost worth the money.

I can play tennis again!

I have tried a bunch of elbow braces but I like the width of this one at just the place it hurt. My form is what caused my tennis elbow in the first place and I have gotten guidance on how I can improve that to prevent it from returning. It covers the spot and the compresssion and pressure work to allow me pain relief and to keep playing tennis. I am taking some time off now but I was in a doubles tournament and did not want to let my teammate down. So I used this iced it, taped it and we got second place. I am still using it when it hurts but giving racquet sports and golf a break to let it rest and heal. When I go back to playing, I'll use this as a preventive and use the new backhand technique. Tennis elbow can be wicked painful. I am pretty tough but there were times it would bring me to my knees it hurt so bad
